Flaxseeds have unique properties and composition. They contain omega-3, 6, and 9 polyunsaturated fatty acids, potassium, selenium, and lecithin. Due to the fiber and mucus that the seeds release when soaked, they are excellent at cleansing the intestines. They have alkalizing and antiparasitic properties and promote natural detoxification of the body. However, flaxseeds are very temperamental, and many beneficial substances can be destroyed, for example, by incorrect storage or preparation. Therefore, they should be stored in a closed dry jar in the refrigerator (not on a shelf in the closet). When preparing, do not expose them to high temperatures.
Ingredients:
Flaxseeds – 2 tbsp
Water – 200 ml
Frozen raspberries – 2-3 tbsp.
Honey – 1 tbsp.
Topping: raspberries or any berries (hemp seeds)
Preparation method:
Pour flaxseeds into a glass, and add clean drinking water. Stir and refrigerate overnight (the seeds will release very useful mucus overnight, so it is not necessary to rinse them, use them together with this liquid). In the morning, transfer the seeds to a blender, add raspberries, and honey, and blend until smooth. Pour into a cup, and sprinkle with raspberries on top (you can use absolutely any ingredients here: berries, nuts, seeds, granola, dried fruits, in general, whatever is available).
